SafePlace A Project of SafePlace

One in three Texas adults has experienced sexual or domestic violence in her/his lifetime. SafePlace is the one integrated organization fighting domestic violence and sexual abuse in Austin, and all our programs for survivors of violence have waiting lists. Your donations help provide essential services and programs that work to end the cycle of violence in our community.

Your donation provides:

$2,500 – 65 nights of safety for a family
$1,500 – 100 hotline calls
$1,000 – 10 days of food for everyone in shelter
$750 – 1 month of life skills training for 10 survivors
$500 – 14 hours of counseling
$250 - 1 day of security for our campus
$150 - 1 week supply of baby formula
$100 – 1 day of hospital support services
$75 – 1 month of life skills training for 1 survivor
$50 – 1 month of legal advocacy for 1 survivor
$25 – 2 hours of after school activities

"SafePlace is a well-organized, efficient, effective and high-impact organization. Its management, staff and board set high standards and ambitious goals. They designate meaningful metrics to measure performance and they achieve outstanding outcomes."

- Bob May, Board Member of SAFE and former Dean of the McCombs School of Business at University of Texas
